What a beautiful color and pattern this 50s dress has! Red and black silk twill with a pattern of large and lovely flowers. Fitted waist with pleating, a back metal zipper, red belt (not original to the dress but it works nicely), high mandarin collar/neck, vertical bust darts, thin shoulder pads, and 3/4 sleeves. But the best part of all ~ the incredible full skirt and sweep ~ approx. 215"! I put a crini underneath it so that you could get an idea of what it would look like. Such a perfect little dress for any occasion or time of day ~ don't forget Valentine's Day! I could see June Cleaver wearing this while baking in the kitchen!
